Job title: GSM Validation engineer

Introduction:

· Department: Software

• Mission: Validation of protocol stack for a GSM/GPRS/EDGE baseband

Description:

• Write test plans and procedures
• Specify and/or implement specific tools for validation purpose
• Analyse cause of failures by analysing interlayer messages contents
• Proceed to field-tests in collaboration with our customers
• Proceed to product certification
• Provide a strong and reactive support for analysing issues found by customer

Skills:

• GSM/GPRS/EDGE standards (3GPP recommandations)
• Understanding of end-to-end protocol interaction
• Test methodologies for telecommunication system protocol stack
• Software background using variety of software languages and tools, including C, C++, TTCN, debuggers, trace tools, protocol stack testers like CRTU
• Certification requirements

Degree: Microelectronics or equivalent Engineering degree / Master

Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years

Languages: English mandatory, French is much appreciated
