Introduction:
You will be part of a WW organization defining, designing and delivering
system solutions (RF, Analog and Digital ICs, software, reference design) for
2.5G and 3G communication standards. The position consists in joining this
international and challenging technical winning environment in the following
area:
Description:
As part of a WW support organization,
you will provide technical support to a key customer from first Silicon samples
delivery until customer product RTP. You will be responsible for one of the 3
ICs built and delivered by our client to be integrated by our customer in a
high-end 3G products generation. You will investigate and find solutions to
customer queries.
You will replicate and debug Silicon
issues on customer or client boards on site (frequent travels) at customer
location (France and North America) and remotely from Nice site.
Deeply inserted in the worldwide
development community, you will be able to close issues based on the experience
you have and the product knowledge you will be developing.
You will interact with architects, systems experts, designers,
validation & verification engineers, Product and Program managers. You will
be able to coordinate complex investigations with the right experts (worldwide)
and drive problems to closure keeping the target to make the customer more
important by optimizing the response time and improving the quality of the
delivered answers and solutions.
Skills:
§
Strong background in Complex System On Chip and applications including:
o
OMAP or similar application ICs architecture
o
2.5G/3G modem
o
ARM and DSP
processors
o
Multimedia (Display/Camera) HW and SW
o
Power management and power saving techniques.
o
DMA, interconnect, Memory controllers, USB, general purpose peripherals
o
Performance
§
Knowledge of cellular phones architecture, applications and use
scenarios.
§
Strong experience of debug on Silicon boards: hands on Lab equipments
such as debugger, oscilloscope, logic analyzer…), test cases writing and debug.
§
Tools and languages: CCS, C code, modelsim, Lauterbach, Assembly,
scripting skills.
§
Experience in
interfacing with and supporting customers at a strong technical level would be an advantage.
§
Team player with problem solving attitude.
§
Excellent writing, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Degree: Microelectronics
degree or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Languages: English &
French mandatory
