Introduction:
As a member
of the sub-micron Mobile Integrated Solutions Design Team, you will be engaged
mainly with Mixed Signal (Digital and Analog)
Analog IC Design developments for Mobile systems.
You will be
assisting in the development of Sub-chip and Module Architectures and the
Electrical IC Design Specifications from a System-level Functional Description
for High-Speed USB2.0 systems.
The latter
includes 480MHz USB High-Speed PHY, ULPI interface, CEA/proprietary Carkit
Audio interfaces, USB Power Management, as well as USB device and USB charger
detection.
You will also
participate in the subchip Integration and its IC Development in deep
sub-micron MOS circuit Technologies of such architectures.
Description:
·
Support IC

·
Ideally, the
candidate will have a Mixed-Signal background and a minimum of 5 years of related
IC Design experience in the field of USB.
·
The ideal
candidate will also have a keen interest in deep sub-micron process
technologies, as well as an aptitude for development of mixed-signal (analog +
digital) circuits.
·
Knowledge of
power management (low-dropout regulators, switching regulators, charge-pumps,
battery chargers, overvoltage/current protection), audio codecs (ADC, DAC,
signal processing), clock systems (PLL, clock slicer) would be an advantage.
·
Experience
with IC Design and Simulation tools such as IC Design Environment, SPICE, and
mathematical modeling languages such as MatLab is essential.
·
Knowledge of
spice accelerator simulation tools such as Nanosim, and of Behavioral modeling
languages such as VHDL, AMS would be an advantage.
·
Familiarity
with digital design flows (RTL,. Synthesis, Clock tree insertion, Static Timing
Analysis, Gate-level simulations, etc) would be a plus.
·
Experience of
IC debug in the lab is essential.
·
A detailed
understanding of IC sub-micron fabrication MOS processes and the ability to
learn and translate new technologies into real world designs is essential.
·
In addition
the candidate should be motivated, have good analytic and communication skills
and a capacity to excel in a cross-functional, cross-cultural team environment.
